Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless is evidently not the most liked television personality at the moment. Bayless’ controversial comment regarding the recent game suspension situation has put him under spotlight. As a result, the sports commentator has received multiple backlashes from fans and athletes. Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal too has responded to Bayless’ comments.

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest during the game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The NFL star was immediately resuscitated on the field and rushed to the hospital. After the ambulance carried Hamlin away, the game was suspended with no further notice. While everyone praised the league for the decision, Skip Bayless raised his concern about the game’s suspension.

Shaquille O’Neal gives a tip to Shannon Sharpe

After the Buffalo Bills vs Bengal Cincinnati game was suspended, Skip Bayless took to Twitter and questioned the league’s decision. Bayless’ tweet seemingly indicated that postponing the game in the middle of the regular season would affect the ‘outcome’. Several athletes including NBA legend Isiah Thomas, NFL wide receiver Dez Bryant, and NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins criticized Bayless for his tweet.

In the latest episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal brought up the Skip Bayless controversy. The four-time NBA champion told his podcast co-host Nischelle Turner that he had a new ‘supplement’ that he wanted to sell to former NFL star Shannon Sharpe. Evidently, Shaq did not agree with Bayless’ comments as he further explained what the supplement was.

Clearly referring to Bayless, Shaq said, “Nischelle, I got a new supplement to sell to Shannon Sharpe only. It’s called CTLMF. You take it, it will cause you to ‘Choke That Little Motherf***er’.”

Furthermore, he said, “‘Shannon, all you have to do is take him in the back and choke the f*ck out of his a**. One time, that’s all. Just one time. Ain’t no fight, no slap, just take his a** in the back and just choke’.”

Additionally, referring to the argument between Sharpe and Bayless, Shaq stated that the latter had been very disrespectful toward his co-host Sharpe. While the 15x NBA All-Star confessed that he didn’t know Hamlin, he prayed for his speedy recovery and sent well wishes to Hamlin’s family.

Shannon Sharpe calls out his co-host

Following Skip Bayless’ tweet, former NFL tight end Shannon Sharpe missed Tuesday’s episode of Undisputed. However, Sharpe returned to the next episode where he explained his absence. In the episode that was aired on Wednesday, Sharpe shared that the incident ‘struck me a little different’.

“As a brotherhood in the NFL, when injuries happen, and we know injuries are a part of the game … but I’ve never seen anybody have to be revived and fight for their life on the field,” the Hall of Famer said.

He then said that he disagreed with Bayless and hoped that his co-host would delete the tweet. However, Bayless cut him off and stated that he would not take down the tweet and he would continue to stand by what he wrote. This resulted in a full-blown argument between the two hosts.
