Shaquille O’Neal has had some wild bets in the past. Last year, he said he would give $10,000 if his NBA on TNT co-host Charles Barkley can spell the word “spectacular”. Shaq asked Ernie Johnson to challenge him to dive into a Christmas tree. And minutes later, we had the Big Diesel launching himself into the tree. Each time, the bets are totally random and on the spot. Recently, the Los Angeles Lakers legend placed a wager on the show, vowing to eat a delicacy on one condition.

The four-time NBA champion told Ernie, who is a Georgia graduate, that if Georgia Football won, he would eat frogs. Georgia not only won the game against TCU, but the Bulldogs also mauled the Horned Frogs with a 65-7 drubbing.

Shaquille O’Neal keeps true to his word

On Monday night, Shaquille O’Neal posted a picture of himself on social media. He captioned it, “the face you make when you gotta eat horned frog legs congratulations Georgia football“. His face seemed to reflect signs of stress and anxiety, as he was about to check his part of the deal.

The topic of college football surfaced following TCU’s head coach Sonny Dykes comments on O’Neal. During a pregame conference over the weekend, Dykes claimed he has “always been a Shaq guy“. He continued to say that one of the disagreements he and his wife has ever had was about Shaq and Kobe Bryant. “I am a Shaq guy, and she’s a Kobe girl“, he added.

Shaquille O’Neal once ended up crying on the hit show, Hot Ones which had celebrities eating really hot wings. He was downing water and a jug of milk to pacify himself. He himself was shocked by the heat simmering down his throat. Shaq coughed, swore at the host, and put his hands to his chest.
