Shaquille O’Neal discusses the controversial decision at Superbowl LVII

The seven-foot legend is aware of being in title-winning moments and surely has a lot of things to say about winning championships. He had a specific opinion on a certain call at the dying moments of the game when the teams were tied 35-35.

The Philadelphia Eagles Cornerback,?James Bradberry was called for a defensive hold on the Kansas City Chiefs receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. The teams were tied with third down and 1:54 on the clock. In the recent? The Big Podcast, the Big Aristotle had plenty to say about the incident.

That call, I would’ve liked to not seen that call made, and possibly go into overtime. When you win a championship or lose a championship you don’t wanna say it was because of that call, it was a questionable call” said Shaq. When co-host Nischelle Turner said that Bradberry admitted the hold, the Lakers legend instantly rebutted, “Listen, they[Philadelphia Eagles] hold up every play.”

Shaq believed it wasn’t the first time the Eagles made a play like that, and it was rather distasteful that the call was made at such a crucial position in the match. In the absence of the call, the Eagles could’ve gone on to tie or win the game, and that would be a fitting result of the exciting game.
