It is a new year and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is motivated. The four-time champion lost more than 40 lbs in 2022 and has a target of losing another 20 lbs in 2023 with his aim to be healthy and fit. As the new year began, Shaq shared a motivational speech from NFL legend Deion Sanders as he continued to show him support. When Sanders recently became the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, O’Neal was very supportive of the decision as well.

The Big Diesel is a huge fan of the NFL Hall of Famer and he even wanted him to be the head coach of his beloved Dallas Cowboys. The 2000 MVP is a lifelong Cowboys fan.

Shaquille O’Neal shared the motivational message of Sanders

Deion Sanders recently shared a video clip of him giving a speech to his team via Instagram. Shaquille O’Neal showed his support for Sanders and shared the clip in his Instagram story. In the video, Sanders asserted, “I don’t know if y’all know, but we gonna win. I don’t know if you feel it, but we gonna win. I don’t know if you can see it, but we gonna win. You got to understand we’re going to win right now, not later. Right now!”

In the caption, Sanders asked about the mentality of his fans going into the new year. He finished the caption by motivating his fans saying, “‘We Coming’ that includes YOU!!!”

Fans loved the two-time Super Bowl winner’s New Year message and expressed they have the winning mentality in the comments. Sanders continues to motivate people on and off the field with this message.

When Sanders made his decision to leave Jackson State, there was some slander going on in different circles. Many felt that he should not be leaving the athletes who committed to Jackson State for him. However, O’Neal was very supportive of him and highlighted the business side of things.

O’Neal supported Deion Sanders’s decision

During an episode of Big Podcast with Shaq, Shaquille O’Neal, and his co-hosts Nischelle Turner and Spice Adams discussed Deion Sanders’ decision to join the Colorado Buffaloes. They discussed the flak he had been receiving for the decision. While discussing, O’Neal admitted that he was happy for Sanders and even sent him a congratulatory text message.

While talking about the future of the players who wanted to play for Sanders, the Los Angeles Lakers legend suggested that they could transfer to Colorado. He then asked NFL veteran Adams about the procedure to transfer schools. Adams noted that the transfer procedure is fairly easy nowadays and players are now not required to sit out a year if they transferred to a different school.
