As the year draws to a close, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is all set to treat fans with a virtual reality New Year party. 2022 has been a great year for sports without any COVID restrictions. Fans stormed to arenas and stadiums in bunches to watch their team perform as the excitement was well and truly back. O’Neal has had a great year as well with his health and fitness as he lost more than 40 lbs.

For the hour-long New Year’s eve VR rager, celebrities Cardi B, Ludacris, Lil Yachty, Rob Gronkowski, and his girlfriend Camille Kostek, Killer Mike, and Whipped Cream will join Shaq.

During an interview with Billboard, Shaquille O’Neal answered a variety of questions about the New Year party. During the sitdown, Shaq was asked about the star-studded lineup of the party and how managed to pull them together. O’Neal replied that it is about mutual respect, showing love, and being nice to others. The Los Angeles Lakers legend added he is grateful for their appearance.

Shaq has multiple times talked about reading the crowd during a DJ event to keep the energy up. So he was asked how he plans to maintain the energy of a VR party where the spectators would be watching from home. O’Neal replied that having the right stars on stage will help. He stated everyone in the lineup is “hot” and will help with the energy of the show.

Shaq stated, “You just have to have the right people there. Ludacris, from Atlanta — hot. Lil Yachty has one of hottest songs of the year — hot. Cardi B, beautiful, gorgeous — hot. DJ Diesel — hot. Rob Gronkowski — hot. I’m not going to say his girlfriend’s hot because I don’t want to have problems with him, but she’s hot. And Whipped Cream — hot.”

The Big Diesel joked he would get in trouble for calling Gronkowski’s girlfriend “hot” but then proceeds to call her “hot” anyway.
