LeBron James tweeted a post tonight regarding the NFL quarterback, Deshaun Watson. The tweet has not been received well, owing to the controversies surrounding Watson lately. The NBA Twitter expressed their disbelief online. One fan even wrote, “Thought he was hacked…No way this is real”.

LeBron James’ tweet shocked fans

The NBA champion wrote, “Yessir D Watson!! Another one. That boy getting his rhythm back!“. LeBron’s tweet has come under scrutiny with basketball fans in shock. Many fans called out the player for his treatment of Jerry Jones and Deshaun Watson.

LeBron said that it was not “appropriate” for the front office to restrict people from kneeling, and hindering “freedom of speech”. Jones had indeed given a stern warning to his players, stating that if they “disrespected the flag”, they would be taken off the team.
