NBA legend Michael Jordan’s marriage to Yvette Prieto has undoubtedly been a spectacular affair. The former Chicago Bulls player married his second wife on April 27, 2013, at an Episcopal Church in Palm Beach, Florida. Jordan met Prieto at a nightclub back in 2007.

Yvette Prieto is a Cuban model who has previously walked the ramp for celebrity designers such as Alexander Wang. The couple got engaged four years later when Jordan proposed to Prieto with a whopping $1 million ring. The couple has identical twin daughters – Ysabel and Victoria, born on February 11, 2014.

The wedding took place at the church of Bethesda-by-the-sea and it was a star-studded celebration. The reception took place in a huge tent at the Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Florida. The wedding was attended by more than 300 people and was estimated to have cost around $10 million.

The list of guests included fellow Bulls player Scottie Pippen, Patrick Ewing, Spike Lee, and golf legend Tiger Woods. A series of performances were given by singers Usher, K’Jon, and Robin Thicke. Although Woods’ then-girlfriend Lindsey Vonn was on the guest list too, she missed out on the wedding due to unavoidable circumstances.

Olympic gold medalist skier Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods reportedly dated each other from 2013 to 2015. Vonn was supposed to attend Michael Jordan and Yvette Prieto’s wedding as Woods’ plus one but passed up the invitation due to work commitments. According to US Magazine, Vonn was reportedly training in Colorado at the time.

Nevertheless, the wedding venue allegedly looked like ‘heaven’ according to sources. The church was decorated with peonies, white roses, and tulips, which were later donated to Jupiter Medical Center. The highlight of the reception area was the seven-tier white rum cake, complete with the couple’s monogram and crystal brooches. The beautiful bride wore a J’Aton Couture gown embellished with Swarovski crystals.
