The fans are worried the team might miss out on one of their best chance to win their sixth world cup because of his injury and hence the criticism. So the superstar looks at James and his words for motivation.

Neymar Jr. takes inspiration from LeBron James

The FIFA WC has brought in a lot of excitement among fans. However, the injury suffered by a top star like Neymar Jr. is a very big disappointment for fans. Meanwhile, Neymar is facing the brunt of the criticism, with many pointing out his frequent injuries being the cause of Brazil’s troubles. Many also feel this backlash is unjust, as the Brazil superstar is one of the most fouled players during games. His teammates and soccer legends have shown support for him as well.

Brazil started their tournament strongly, with a 2-0 win over Serbia, but Neymar Jr. got injured in the game. The superstar also missed out on the 2014 World Cup Semi-Finals due to injury. Hence, Neymar’s injury is a big blow for himself as well. The Paris Saint-Germain superstar mentioned a few months ago that the 2022 WC would probably be his last one.

The criticism is getting to the superstar, and he is taking motivation from an Instagram post by LeBron James last year. Neymar shared the post by James who was also going through a tough season last year. With injuries and bad performances by the team plaguing him, James shared a lengthy caption sharing his thoughts on his situation.

The above is just an excerpt of the caption, with James implying that no one knows their struggles more than themselves.
