Following the game 7 victory against the Boston Celtics, several stars have credited Butler for his daring performance. The latest one was 19-year-old tennis sensation Coco Gauff. The young American revealed an interesting story about the Miami Heat forward after they reached the finals yesterday.

Butler has shown his love for tennis by supporting upcoming stars. One such is Coco Gauff who is currently shining bright in the French Open. After her clutch performance against Spain’s Masarova, Gauff went on to share a Jimmy Butler tale that helped her win the first round.

Previously, Butler made an appearance in the Miami Open to show his support for the Gauff. Later before the French Open Butler shared a two-word message in his story, “Let’s go,” to support young Gauff.

33-year-old Butler has always been a kind-hearted man. As a gesture, Butler was ready to buy Gauff playoff tickets after he found out the latter was a huge fan of the Miami Heat. The American tennis star revealed she couldn’t attend the playoff games due to the French Open. This is when Butler decided to display his confidence. 

According to reports, the 19-year-old revealed that the 7-time All-Star told her, “When we make the Finals, let me know if your family wants some tickets.” Butler must surely have stuck to his words, the Heat having made it to the Finals now. Gauff also shared, “I kind of held my breath,” after the Heat came up clutch in game 7.

Gauff shared that when Butler sent the above text, she knew at that exact moment, the Heat were going to make it to the finals. Butler also predicted this a year ago after a heartbreaking game-seven loss to the Celtics. The Eastern Conference MVP has now turned the tables.
