Interestingly enough, a teenage tennis sensation compared her defensive skills to that of Draymond. According to Coco Gauff, she couldn’t make a shot while playing. However, she had defensive skills to compensate for her shooting which resonates with Draymond.

Tennis star compares herself to Warriors star Draymond Green

Draymond Green is widely considered one of the best defenders in the league. While Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson handle the offense, Green is undoubtedly the leader in defense.

Thanks to his defensive skills, he has made the All-Defensive team a whopping seven times. Moreover, he won the Defensive Player of the Year award for the 2016-17 season. 

Interestingly enough, Draymond has a fan in the tennis world who admires him for his defensive skills. Teenage tennis sensation Coco Gauff gave a shoutout to Draymond while talking about her skills in defense.

She said, “I couldn’t shoot to save my life, but defense? I was on and because the change of direction. I was the defensive player, I was a Draymond Green. No offense to him“

The  Eastern Conference finals between the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics is turning into a fiesty affair. The series is evenly tied at two apiece and both teams are not ready to give an inch.

However, Gauff already has her pick for the NBA finals. It is the Miami Heat. After her matchup in the Rolland Garros, she talked about the Heat.

She said, “The games are always at like 5 a.m., French time! But every morning when I wake up, like this morning, the first thing I did is check if the Heat won, and we did.

Gauff further added, “I hope that maybe in two weeks, I can be in the finals and the Heat can be winning the championship.”
