The last time Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers in the season, the Mavericks were completely outplayed with their star man Luka Doncic having one of the worst games of the season. Doncic has been otherwise exceptional in his sophomore season. He is one of the contenders to win the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award this season. The 20-year old is averaging 28.9 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 9.0 assists per game in the season so far.

The Mavericks look well equipped to make mends to what had happened when they met earlier in the season. They are expected to return to full strength with Kristaps Porzingis getting closer to coming back from injury. Also, the Clippers playing without Paul George will be an added advantage for the Mavericks.

In their last game against New Orleans Pelicans, Leonard came up with 39 points, six assists and six rebounds, apart from contributing six steals.

The game against Mavericks will be the second of seven consecutive road trips for the Clippers.
