NBA 2K21: Ronnie 2K Lauds Cover Athlete Damian Lillard

The NBA 2K21 current-gen edition is out for sale, and this year it was Damian Lillard’s turn to shine as the cover athlete. Lillard has been in the league for nearly a decade and has been a great leader for the Portland Trail Blazers.

Even this year, Lillard willed his team to the NBA Playoffs against all odds. But his efforts were not enough to get past the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round. Although Dame’s season is over, he has earned the respect of fans all around the globe.

Ronnie 2K was among those fans as he appreciated Lillard’s attitude both on and off the court. He said:

Being on the cover of NBA 2K puts Damian Lillard in an elite category of players. However, Dame must prepare for the next season already. This year was full of injuries for the Blazers. Will they make a comeback in the upcoming season? Well, that’s an answer fr the next season.

How is NBA 2K21 performing?

It is true that the company’s major focus was definitely the next-gen NBA 2K21. As it seems, the current-gen is similar to NBA 2K20.  Apart from some change in career mode and a new shooting feature, the gameplay is the same.

Moreover, 2K’s effort to revamp the shooting mechanism was not well-received by fans. Most players have been struggling to get used to these new shooting controls. As a result, they are requesting that the devs release a patch update with this issue being fixed.

Along with the poor shooting mechanism, the next big complaint that the players have made is the lousy dribbling animations, which have been termed as laggy when compared to the previous editions of the NBA 2K franchise.

The next-generation NBA 2K21 will come out along with the next-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Maybe the upcoming game will be better? Who knows, fingers crossed!
