Skip Bayless is notorious for being LeBron James’ harshest critic. The NBA analyst has made a career out of pointing out LeBron’s failures and admonishing him at every step.

Bayless is a polarizing figure due to his views on LeBron James. He is one of the biggest fans of Michael Jordan and is very adamant about his status as the greatest player of all time. He often diminishes LeBron’s achievements because he cannot fathom how anyone can put James’ in the same conversation as Michael Jordan. Therefore, he consistently discredits James.

Even after the Lakers‘ 2020 championship victory, Bayless discredited their efforts. He believes that the Lakers got lucky because they ‘avoided’ the Clippers in the Western Conference Finals and reiterated that the Lakers avoided the team that could beat them.

The statement is quite unfair because the Lakers did what they had to get to the finals. Meanwhile, the Clippers disappointingly collapsed against the Denver Nuggets.

Skip Bayless knocks Harrell’s move to Lakers
I guess I shouldn't be surprised. LeBron's agency steers Montrezl Harrell to the Lakers, says his agent Rich Paul, who runs Klutch for LeBron. Trez is signing for only about $9 mil, a stunning steal for the Lakers. I guess the NBA is now a LeBronopoly.

The Clippers must now focus on trying to rebuild their team and try to run it back and win the NBA Championship. But it will not be easy, as the Lakers have started making moves in the market.

The Lakers recently traded for Dennis Schröder from OKC. And as of last night, the Lakers signed the Clippers‘ Montrezl Harrell in free agency. This is considered a championship move, given that the Lakers needed to build their team and replace their aging roster.
One person who is not a fan of the move is Skip Bayless. Bayless took to Twitter after the news about Harrell broke to imply that it was LeBron’s influence that sealed the deal. He wrote, “I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. LeBron’s agency steers Montrezl Harrell to the Lakers, says his agent Rich Paul, who runs Klutch for LeBron. Trez is signing for only about $9 mil, a stunning steal for the Lakers. I guess the NBA is now a LeBronopoly.”

While the connection between Harrell and James is obvious given that they have the same agent, it is unfair to suggest that James is using his connections to improve his team. Rich Paul is a fantastic agent who is known to get his clients the best possible deal in any situation.
