Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma has been involved in a few trade rumours recently.

Many have opined that the 24-year old has failed to be the Lakers’ driving force outside of the LeBron JamesAnthony Davis duo. However, in the absence of the star duo in the game against Oklahoma City Thunder, Kuzma led the Lakers to a comfortable 125-110 victory.

At the end of the game, Kuzma was asked about the trade rumours persisting around him. He was clear enough in saying that those rumours did not really bother him and they were something that would keep coming up.

“Nah. That’s for y’all to talk about, I don’t really care,” Kuzma said as per a video obtained from Spectrum SportsNet. “I’ve been through it multiple times, and obviously you see it, but it doesn’t even matter at this point.”

No game is light at Lakers

Kuzma scored a game-high 36 points apart from contributing with seven rebounds. Kuzma said that everybody in the Lakers is motivated in their own way and the team always goes out to win games.

“Everybody on this team has something to prove,” Kuzma said. “You know AD’s trying to win a ring, Bron’s trying to win in L.A., I’m trying to establish myself. … [Go] down the line — Dwight [Howard], redemption. Everyone’s got something. [Alex] Caruso [making a name for himself]. So we don’t take games lightly. … We want to go out and dominate every game. We don’t see why we can’t win every game.”
