Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon showcased his arsenal of dunks as he puts down the LA Lakers in Wednesday’s game.

Four minutes into the second half, Gordon had a fake shot that JaVale McGee fell for at the free-throw line. He then threw the ball of the backboard to himself, throwing down a one-handed jam humiliating the Lakers defence.

And with just one minute remaining in the game, Gordon absorbed an embarrassing two-handed push from Lakers centre JaVale McGee and threw down a vicious tomahawk dunk on his way to a three-point play.

Aaron Gordon and the Magic Exposes LA Lakers Defense

Laker’s lack of interior defence due to the absence of Anthony Davis gave way for these humiliating dunks. The Magic were able to score 60 points in the paint due to easily available open lanes and lack of defensive intensity. On the other hand, The plays of Kyle Kuzma and Avery Bradley who’s returning from injury leaves much to be desired. Kuzma scored only 4 points in 27 minutes of play reflecting poor offensive production

Alex Caruso had to leave the game after taking an elbow of Mo Bamba to the face. This highlights the lack of depth issue the Lakers are facing right now. Even in a game in which LeBron James wasn’t at his best,  he still managed to dish out 19 assists tied with his career-high in assists.

That dunk and a pair of impressive scores from Markelle Fultz schooling Lakers defence helped the Magic become the first under .500 team to show up the Lakers this season. They broke a nine-game win streak for the Lakers, who were on their way to another thrilling victory after overcoming multiple 20 point deficits.

Before the game, the Magic were a 10.5 point underdog. The exceptional play of Aaron Gordon with 21 points and 6 boards. Markelle Fultz’s triple-double 21 points 11 rebounds and 10 assists gave Magic an impressive road win.
