“‘Michael, you probably don’t know who I am, but I wrote your walk-on music.’ And he said, ‘Oh, nice to meet you, man’, almost like it hadn’t sunk in.” That’s how Alan Parsons, the creator of the famous Chicago Bulls walkout song, described his meeting with Michael Jordan. The Bulls used ‘Sirius’ from 1984, which was recommended by then announcer Tommy Davis. This time, though, Jordan got to listen to the song not on the court but during his getaway trip.

The song was also featured during the Netflix series ‘The Last Dance’ and ‘Michael Jordan to the Max (2000)’. 23.8 million households outside the US watched The Last Dance in its first four weeks as per Netflix! So it was obvious fans of Jordan would now be familiar with the tune, and in the small town in southeastern France, Jordan and his fans got to enjoy the familiar song.
