Dwight Howard extended an invitation to Kai Cenat to join him. The popular online streamer and YouTuber, Kai Cenat was most recently seen showing his basketball skills at the 2024 NBA All-Star Celebrity game. Despite that, he couldn’t achieve the MVP title of the game. Addressing millions of his fans and viewers, the star even sent a heartwarming apology gesture, reflecting on Kobe Bryant‘s legacy. Nevertheless, along with fans, NBA star Dwight Howard also displayed faith in Kai’s abilities.

Not just that, he even asked Cenat to join him to play with him and create their own celebrity game.  Howard shared that the trip would start in Taiwan, where the player had first showcased his skills as an international player. He played for the Taoyuan Leopards in the T1 league in 2022. The Los Angeles Lakers star has another destination in his mind. Furthermore, they can play in the Philippines as well. Dwight’s post read, “Aye Kai let’s do our own celebrity game overseas! First stop Taiwan second stop Philippines.”

While the two together and their synergy will be unbelievable, Howards seems to be a big supporter of the streamer. He also made a gesture to console him.

Kai Cenat pays homage to Kobe Bryant through his apology

Cenat showed his best efforts as he scored 8 points in the game. However, after the game, he took a moment to honor the giants of the game, as well as apologize to the viewers for his underperformance. He imitated Kobe’s popular championship image, however, instead of the trophy, he was holding a bag and shared it on his social media accounts. The post was accompanied by a heartfelt caption,Sorry if I let y’all down.”

Despite his playful confession, Cenat’s sincerity towards sportsmanship and his respect for the game’s greats took center stage. In response to the post, Howard retweeted and wrote, “Pass that man the rock next time.”
