Dwyane Wade’s Daughter Zaya Faces Brother’s Hilarious Confrontation About Mysterious Date

It’s not prom festivities without a little glamor and overprotective dads or brothers sizing up dates. Zaya Wade is living this big milestone in her teenage life in the most cinematic way – looking fabulous and with a hotheaded brother. We don’t know about Dwyane Wade yet but his eldest, Zaire, is going through the feels as Zaya is all grown up. She has a thriving modeling career, she’s looking at colleges, and she’s going to prom, possibly with company. And Zaire is not prepared for that.

She shared her prom night fashion with her 668k Instagram followers to let them know she “went to prom.” Looking like a younger Naomi Campbell, the Miu Miu model wore a classic LBD from the brand, complimented with a purse from the same, and silver accessories and nails. The fact that she went out looking this fine didn’t sit well with a certain someone.

Zaire showed it commenting, “WITH WHO?!?!” The red-faced angry emoji enhanced the emotions. Obviously, she’s not going with her brother. She has, however, kept her prop status a secret for now.

Zaire and Dahveon (D-Wade’s nephew he is the legal guardian of) hung out on 4/20 with Dwyane and Gabrielle Union. You don’t see Zaya complaining about being left out. The proud dad did repost Zaya’s prom post but didn’t comment on it.

Zaya is Wade Fam’s first college experience

The Wade fam is in the middle of college visits season with Zaya. The 3x NBA champion and his 16-year-old daughter were spotted touring the University of Washington with Union and their youngest, Kaavia. Wade shared to family updates on Instagram. At least he was beaming at the thought of Zaya moving into the next chapter.

Zaire had opted to go pro straight out of high school and played in Africa. Around that time, he penned a heartfelt letter to Zaya when she legally changed her name and showed he’d always have her back. Zaire was not seen at her college tours but this makes Dwyane’s first college experience since his own at Marquette. No word on whether Marquette is on the cards. Though UW alums, Kelsey Plum, Nate Robinson, and Isaiah Thomas were excited about a Wade coming to their old campus.

Zaya’s college decisions are still pending. But it looks like Zaire will have to just deal with his little sister growing up.
