Michael Jordan will forever be remembered by basketball fans as the man who lead his team to two three-peats. He hung up his boots and bid farewell to the game of basketball in 2003. MJ probably wasn’t able to stay away from the game for too long as he bought the Charlotte Hornets in 2010. Unfortunately, the five-time MVP wasn’t able to find similar success in the NBA as an owner that he found as a player. His son Marcus Jordan seemingly gave a massive hint that MJ might be putting his team up for sale.

The Charlotte Hornets have been to the NBA playoffs only two times in the last 13 years. This is very unlike MJ, who has reached the NBA Finals six times and won the title the equivalent number of times. Having failed to find any success as an owner, there are rumors going around that the basketball legend might be looking to sell the team.

I think they’re working on a sale.” Marcus Jordan gave away a massive hint that his father’s team might be working on a sale of the Hornets.
