Every other person wants to be like Michael Jordan; even a seven-time NBA champion is on the list. In a podcast, the NBA veteran was accused of going to lengths to get a piece of Jordan’s luxury. 

The co-host of the podcast cited the seven-time NBA champion and a Los Angeles Lakers legend for exploiting and using the newlywed Lakers’ owner, Jeanie Buss, to get closer to Jordan’s luxury and his way of living. However, the NBA veteran denied all the accusations and set the record straight whilst coming clean. This segment sheds light on Jordan’s impact and fans, even the celebrities trying to imitate him.

Horry accused of exploiting Jeanie Buss for Michael Jordan

Los Angeles Lakers legend and seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry, in his podcast “Big Shot Bob,” talked about the ongoing events in the sports world. Robert Horry discussed the Los Angeles Lakers owner Jeanie Buss’ marriage. While discussing the topic during the segment, Horry asked his co-hosts if they were invited to the wedding. While laughing, the co-host accused Horry of using Jeanie as a stepping stone to get Michael Jordan’s and her company, Cincoro’s bottle of tequila.

“First of all, I don’t for booze, I reach out for Lakers tickets. I reach out for something more important.” He further adds, “If you get Laker tickets, you can go on the back and drink some booze. It’s same thing…two for one.” 

This funny back-and-forth highlights the fact that many people, including the seven-time NBA champion, are fans of Jordan’s tequila.

Horry shares friends’ reactions to the wedding

In the episode, Robert Horry made a shocking revelation of his friends and their thoughts on Jeanie Buss’ Malibu wedding,

The Lakers owner got married to her long-time boyfriend and a famous comedian, Jay Mohr. The couple was in a relationship for five years before they exchanged vows.

In the segment, Horry, affectionately known as Big Shot Bob, voiced his friends’ hilarious disdain for Buss’ marriage in the episode. In a jovial tone, the seven-time NBA champion revealed, “A lot of people were upset about that. A lot of my friends like why you not hook me up with Jean? I know she was single. I’m like, dude?”

Nevertheless, Horry and the show’s co-hosts expressed their love and happiness for Jeanie as she married Jay and wished them the best.
