Gabrielle Union is one of the finest actors in the world. The 50-year-old has been a working professional since 1993 and has bagged some major roles and awards in her career. She recently came out with a movie The Perfect Find which is a massive success on Netflix. In addition, the actor has been on a promotional run for her movie, giving a glimpse of her life to the fans during the process.

She is married to the NBA superstar Dwyane Wade. The two have been together since 2014. During a recent interview, Union admitted that she struggles to get rid of the alter ego she develops when preparing for her roles.

During a recent interview Union talked about something personal. As an actor, she takes up different roles that challenge her craft and make her push the boundaries. While exploring the nuances of a fictional character, Union feels that she develops a similar personality within herself which is often hard to let go.

“I Was ready and I stayed ready. It felt like acidic venom just taking over my whole body,” she said about her recent role on screen. Detailing her struggles with letting go of a character she picked up for a movie, Union said “It wasn?t a character I had a problem leaving. It was me. The parts of me that I didn?t know existed.”

An actor par excellence, Union’s recent release The Perfect Find is a big success. The movie also features Keith Powers and La La Anthony and was a worldwide success. During the initial days of its release, it was trending at #2 in the country. As days passed, the reach of the film grew bigger, and it landed among the top 10 globally trending movies on Netflix. Although it received some criticism from movie buffs on Twitter, some will argue a hit is a hit if it shows up on the trending page.
