Already under the responsibility to handle more than 170 restaurants, the Los Angeles Lakers legend has decided to add more to his resume. However this time, Shaq will not be launching new franchises in the States, but in China. You can see that Big Diesel has time and again promoted a $2.23 billion food chain on his social media. Well, it is being done quite frequently now and there seems to be a reason behind it. Looks like the 51-year-old did not want more criticism on his name!

Shaquille O’Neal in China after $2.23 billion company’s criticism 

The Chinese have an immense love for the Lakers, and especially for Shaq and Kobe Bryant. $2.23 billion Papa John’s decided to use Shaq’s fame to promote their new opening in China. Well, this is not just an opening, but a magnum opus. 

The pizza company has planned to open about 1350 stores in China and Shaq will be playing a pivotal role in it. In a video shared by his professional trainer Rashid Shabazz, a huge mob was seen waiting to meet Shaq and interact with him.

Looks like the multi-billion food chain has already opened 300 stores in China. Moreover, they pulled a brilliant move, as the Chinese will get to witness the famous ‘Shaq-a-roni’ on their Papa John’s menu too.

According to reports, Shaquille O’Neal skipped more than 75% of Papa John’s board meetings. The billion-dollar company revealed they were not too happy about the inactivity. Ever since this hit, the LA champion decided to turn things around.
