Recently, the 15-time All-Star player publicly made an announcement to showcase his faith in the 19-year-old athlete.

He took to his Instagram and wrote a special message, “He has no tattoos.. No jewelry on no crazy swag yet.. BETTER ENJOY IT NOW….Looking forward to following his growth n journey. Sit back and watch this.”
With this message, he added some more on how he is waiting for the player to launch a new era for the league. Despite Wembanyama’s underperformance, Garnett’s faith remained steadfast. He even went on to describe how he could be the future dominating force of the league and compared him with Nikola Djokovic. It seems Wembanyama is on the right track and might soon prove Garnett’s prediction right. But one of his recent actions became a laughingstock among fans as soon as it reached online.
Victor Wembanyama’s warm gesture rejected?
Showcasing his good sportsmanship, the San Antonio Spurs No. 1 pick went to shake hands with the game officials before a match. While the first referee reciprocated the athlete’s politeness, another referee declined!

When Wembanyama approached the second referee to shake hands, he was occupied with his thoughts and failed to notice the giant athlete. The scene sparked a line of hilarious comments from fans and netizens. However, Wembanyama must brush such incidents aside and look to own the NBA-world.
It’s rare that you see the Celtics legend make a prediction of an NBA rookie. Even if this is the beginning for the 19-year-old player, his promising talent has already gained Garnett’s faith.
