Michael Jordan’s second son, Marcus Jordan, took another massive step in the TV industry when he was cast on Peacock’s reality show The Traitors. Interestingly, his girlfriend Larsa Pippen was also part of the cast for Season 2 of the show. The couple previously starred on the Real Housewives of Miami as well. The first three episodes of The Traitors’ season 2 were released on January 12 and are well received by fans.

In fact, the show even ranked 2nd on Peacock’s top charts, beating out The Office. Tamra Judge who is also part of the cast shared it on Instagram to express her excitement. Now, with his reality series’ success in sight, Jordan has turned his attention to another show: True Detective. The season 4 of the crime thriller was released on January 14, and Marcus is apparently thrilled. The former college basketball star took to X to show his frenzy for the show.

True Detective was nominated for seven awards during the 66th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards and won four. While it won many laurels, Marcus’ show has been winning the attention of his and Larsa’s ardent fanbase.

Larsa Pippen broke the show’s rules for Marcus Jordan

Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen competed against each other for The Traitors even though they are in a romantic relationship. Notably, they are the first couple ever to feature in the show. The reality show has some very important rules to be followed for the competitors.

However, the two secretly broke some harmless rules during the filming. Larsa admitted breaking the rules during an interview with People. The competitors were not allowed to communicate with each other after each day of filming as they stayed in separate rooms. However, the reality TV star found a way to communicate with her boyfriend.

Larsa revealed, “Marcus asked me for a nail file, and I put it in a paper bag—and they go through everything, you’re not supposed to send anything back and forth.” Larsa continued, “He said he wanted a banana. So I [write], ‘I love you,’ on the banana and send it to him with the nail file.” Marcus added, “That was cute.”

However, Larsa made it clear to Marcus that they wouldn’t be a duo once the game started. She clarified that she and Jordan would be on their own after they entered the castle. Marcus agreed with his girlfriend but still noted that it would “sting” if he was stabbed in the back by Larsa.
