Attention passengers, fasten your seatbelts. This is Captain Rodman. After leaving wrestling fans gasping with his AEW stint, Dennis Rodman has taken his transportation back home into his own hands. Together with his younger girlfriend, Yella Yella, ‘The Worm’ shared a glimpse of their experience in the pilot’s cockpit of a commercial airplane on social media. Fans have since had all kinds of response to it. One of Rodman’s closest friends couldn’t miss out on the action too.

If there was someone who could ‘out-Worm’ Dennis Rodman in the league, it was Metta Sandiford-Artest and his previous name aliases. Unsurprisingly, they have mutual admiration for each other and hang out occasionally. He couldn’t resist expressing how much he adores Rodman and his girlfriend’s relationship.

Besides basketball, Dennis Rodman has delved into acting, wrestling, and publishing, among other things. One thing he hasn’t tried yet is flying a plane. He’s not got a pilot’s training or license, but his star power could get him into the cockpit of an Airbus 220.

Rodman and Yella Yella donned their pilot hats and got some content for social media in the pilot’s seat. They shared a snippet on their YouTube channel and a picture on Instagram with the caption, “Imagine If I was your Pilot BUCKLE UP.” Fans are digging the pilot look.

Air Rodman.”, said one fan.

Another fan chimed in, “DENNIS WHATS GOOD BRO.”

A third user addressed Rodman as captain: “Captain Rodman.”

This user found the antics of Rodman cool:”Very. Cool. Dennis.”

A user appreciated the move, but with a hint of skepticism, “That’s one ride I Wld 250% take. But maybe you as co-pilot and a very skilled engineer in the [chicken emoji] pit”

Having you as a wingman on the court is probably the best that can happen. Having you as a pilot is pretty much not the worst thing in this world. Enjoy being the pilot of your life. “, this fan wished Rodman luck.

Another one straight-up denied being on the same plane, “I ain’t flying on that plane lmfao.”

Brother… if it was the last trip I ever took, I’d Go!!! Bring A Lot of Beautiful Women!!!”, a user exclaimed.

Metta Sandiford-Artest’s admiration for Rodman

Dennis Rodman is making the most of his wrestling return on AEW with a comeback to the United Center in Chicago, home of the Chicago Bulls. Yella Yella is accompanying her boyfriend every step of the way. Someone we know is not missing a single moment of Rodman’s wrestling festivities is Sandiford-Artest.

Two of the NBA’s most eccentric personalities are known to catch up and have a blast together. When the Bulls drafted rookie Metta World Peace in 1999, Rodman had suited up for the team for the last time. Though their paths didn’t cross during their respective playing careers, Artest would often get compared to Rodman for his on-court antics.

Even Artest would draw the comparison. A couple of years ago, he stirred a debate among fans claiming that Rodman was a better wing defender than him. That mutual respect showed when Artest popped up in the comments to show some love to his friend.
