It is one thing to dream of playing against your idol but it is a completely different ball game in real life too when your idol is Michael Jordan. However Allen Iverson not only faced Jordan he is responsible for one of his most embarrassing moments. But Iverson never brags about it and even credits MJ for almost blocking his shot. “how great he is he still almost blocked it, and I got him good.”

Talking to the Knuckleheads podcast hosted by Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles about the moment against Jordan. Iverson said he didn’t remember the moment after the game but he remembers telling his friends and family that he might try the move against Jordan. “ If he ever guarded me that I was going to try my move on the greatest player to ever play.”

Bubba Chuck knew he had to calm his nerves and be confident when going against MJ. He just wanted to do it like any other time and not get caught in the moment. Iverson even claims that he has caught millions of people in that move but they have been way worse than Jordan. Ultimately, he knew what it actually meant to pull off the move against his idol. “But it’s him you know what I mean so that’s that’s the big that’s the big deal it.”
