Previously, Iverson has drawn parallels between him and Westbrook. In a conversation with Stephen A. Smith, Iverson revealed how he related to Russ’ style of play, saying, “Russ went hard, right? He plays every game like it’s his last. It’s never a nonchalant aspect of his game. Everything is full effort.” Considering this comment, it’s surprising that AI didn’t mention Russ amongst his list of active stars, even though Westbrook isn’t currently rostered yet.
