Charles Barkley?s request to Reggie Love to help secure his dream guest

For the celebration of the 100th episode of the podcast, Ernie Johnson asked the Philadelphia 76ers legend about his wish list of guests. Much to everyone’s surprise, Sir Charles named Barack Obama to be on the top of his wish list. Charles Barkley shared, ?I’m trying to get President Obama on here.??

While we are yet to see the former President on the podcast, it looks like the 1993 NBA MVP also has something planned to ensure President Obama’s arrival as well. Speaking of his desire, he called out Reggie Love to get the work started.

Barkley noted, ?Shout out Reggie Love! Make- get it done Reggie. We need President Obama on the podcast.?

Reggie Love is a famed former college basketball player. He worked as a special assistant for former US President Obama. It seems the two-time Gold Medalist is keen to use his network to get the former president on his show.

However, it was long back in 2011, that Love left his job. But Barkley might be able to realize his dream without the former college star. After all, Sir Charles himself has visited the Oval Office.

As the stenographer recalled, the 11x NBA All-Star said, “I get anxious when I have to talk to important people, which is why I like talking to you.?

Following a pleasant conversation with the stenographer, Sir Charles proceeded to interview Obama in the East Wing Library. The two got together to discuss the NBA All-Star Game.?
