Captioning his Instagram post, “My size made me David. My game made me Goliath!” Bubba Chuck brought a biblical angle to his life as a baller. He jibed that his talents likened him to Goliath (10 feet), but his stature reflected David (5 feet.) Undeniably, the icon amassed a huge amount of love, respect, and honor.

While he never won a championship trophy, Iverson is quite proud of the honors he bagged over the 15 years of his playing career. He is 1997 NBA Rookie of the Year, 2001 NBA MVP, 11x NBA All-Star, 2x NBA All-Star MVP, and 4x NBA scoring champion. He is also 3x NBA Steals Leader from 2001-2003. On top of that, he was a part of the 7 All-NBA Teams and NBA 75th Anniversary Team. Additionally, he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.

The post was a sweet reminder of how greatness recognizes greatness as Kobe Bryant once playfully warned everyone saying, “We are fortunate that Allen Iverson is not 6’5”.” As soon as the revolutionary legend posted on his social handle, fan reactions came flooding in.
