Yeah, I’m excited but I still would have love to see some Lil Wayne some Master P, just seven minutes like one song; get them out.” Shaq spoke to Billboard’s Tetris Kelly on the 2025 Fanatics Super Bowl party red carpet and wanted two native rappers on the stage too. Salute to @kendricklamar for performing at the halftime show at Super Bowl LIX.. well deserved, he’s one of the hottest music artists in the world and has one of the biggest songs right now.  As Ambassador of Entertainment in the City of New Orleans, I have to agree with the fans that @liltunechi #LilWayne should be a part of this celebration as well. He’s one of the greatest Hip Hop artists alive, still relevant, and he’s a New Orleans native.” On his Instagram, Master P added a post about the disrespect to Weezy.

It was an outrage since then, at how Lil Wayne was not allowed to be present on the stage. Even Shaquille O’Neal knew that and wanted the native Master P alongside Lil Wayne. Even if the performance had just one song. However, later, he gave credit to K-Dot and was hyped about the performance. “But Kendrick is a beast. He’s a master; I know he’s going to do great.” To nobody’s surprise, there are others too eagerly waiting for the performance.
