The Miami Heat legend has done it yet again. The iconic Dwyane Wade surprised the fans with his charming persona once more. A few days after his Hall of Fame celebrations in his hometown Chicago, the athlete showed up for his kitchen duties. Photographs of Wade cooking with the UC Davis boot camp attendees have enamored fans with the work ethic and humility of Flash. After retiring in 2019, the 2006 NBA Finals MVP has made his way to the Executive Leadership boardroom of the University of California, Davis?s Department of Viticulture and Enology.

That?s not the only achievement of his expanding business portfolio. Recently, he also bought a stake in the WNBA?s $85 million team.

D-Wade turns into a chef for the boot camp attendees

Viticulture is the study of cultivating grapes while enology is the study of wine-making. In 2014, the 3-time NBA champion started his own line of alcohol under the name ‘Wade Cellars’. His work with UC Davis is just one part of his contribution to the wine industry.

Recently, a department?s official Instagram post presented pictures of the legend cooking together with the team for the boot camp attendees. In the pictures, the player was laughing and happily posing with the other team member. Dwyane Wade could be seen expertly cheffing it up.

Chef Wade could be seen wearing a black apron and embracing his fellow attendees. While none of us got a taste of his cooking, most fans were delighted to see the 41-year-old passing his retirement in such fulfilling ways.

The NBA legend sparked the rumors when he was spotted at one of Chicago Sky?s practice sessions. And soon, the athlete made the news official on his Twitter account. In his Tweet, he said, ?It?s an incredible feeling being on this side of history??There are amazing things happening in the?WNBA.?It?s official! This is for the home team?literally.?

His decision emphasized how he wants to support women’s sports. Being a former NBA player and having witnessed the steady growth of the WNBA, Wade?s contribution could be crucial to the team and the league’s future. The player also purchased a stake in MLS? Real Salt Lake in 2022.
