2 weeks ago Gilbert Arenas uploaded on his YouTube channel with the title Gilbert Arenas’ CRAZY Idea To Fix NBA Defense. He said to get rid of all European players to increase defensive stability. He stated how apparently Europeans don’t learn basic defense in college. That’s why they’re weak in athleticism, speed, and jumping ability, and thus an overall liability in defense. “They are 150 Euros in the league today… name the top defenders. None! Just Rudy [Gobert] and the Greek Freak. Other than that, they are offensive players.

He recently targeted 4X NBA champion Manu Ginóbili. Gilbert Arenas said, “Don’t try to compare me to damn Manu Ginobili, he was a bench player and was loaded by Duncan and Parker.” Ginóbili is one of the most respected names in the basketball community. So naturally people will defend him.

One such person is his Olympic-winning teammate in 2004 Andrés Nocioni. Nocioni played in the NBA for 8 years. He took to his Instagram, reshared the above post on his story and wroteWhat happened to this idiot? He attacked the Europeans and now he messes with Manu. You look at the complete package daddy! you were missing a few fruits.” He tagged Gilbert Arenas in his story and also used the song El Payaso Plim Plim. It is a very popular song from a kids series in Argentina where Plim Plim is a joker character. We don’t have to spell out who Nocioni is pointing towards as a joker.

Gilbert Arenas responds to Nocioni

Gilbert Arenas reacted indifferently. He reshared the story and wroteim not sure what it says but I’m sure they agree with me with 4 laughing emoticons. (they couldn’t guard me for shit) u(tagging Nocioni) still mad about the game winner in the playoffs.” Even Arenas uploaded the story with El Payaso Plim Plim song.

Both NBA veterans did not stop after 1 story, they were at each other’s throats still. Nocioni replied with some logic at the end, and wrote “It’s not about me, my friend, it’s about Manu and you don’t tie his shoelaces. One more thing it’s 2024, if you don’t understand use a translator. With a clown face at the end. Arenas replied its 2024 “if I’m the clown(clown face) ur the customer. Welcome to the greatest show on EARTH, come back soon.”

Nocioni was quick to reply and politely declined the offer to join Arenas. He wrote ” no, thanks I have my own show but without clowns. ” Probably deciding to end the back and forth from his side. Gilbert Arenas replied again this time “A show with no clowns to entertain is kinda like ur career (ill tune in when im bored).

Well, do you think the responses will continue?
