After Tyson Gay’s historic win in 2007, Lyles became the second American to accomplish a double win. While the 26-year-old might not have been able to break the fastest man, Usain Bolt’s record, he has earned everyone love and praise. Amid the media critics, the American athlete received the highest order of praise from NBA legend Magic Johnson.
