In recent news, he got into a verbal altercation with fellow YouTuber Melli Monaco. Melli Monaco then challenged the three-time NBA All-Star to a 1v1 basketball match with $1 million (Arenas’) and a Porsche 911 (Monaco’s) on the line.

Gilbert Arenas 1v1 Basketball Game
Melli Monaco is a 33-year-old YouTube content creator and a rising star in the music industry as well. Monaco visited Gilbert Arenas at his home, where the two played a 1v1 basketball match at Arenas’ home court. It was not long before Arenas won the ‘poorly contested’ 1v1 game. Gilbert Arenas, who was nicknamed ‘Agent Zero’ in the NBA for his fearless scoring, is a three-time NBA All-Star and even won the ‘Most Improved Player’ in his sophomore year in the NBA.

It is obvious that Gilbert Arenas was going to win the basketball match. However, it was good to see that the retired NBA veteran still enjoys playing basketball. The retired NBA veteran still has a smooth jump shot and scored all his baskets with ease. However, this was not the only time that he and Melli Monaco competed in a sport.

The bet for the Porsche 911 (Monaco’s) and the $1 million (Arenas’) was made contingent on the fact that the two of them will play a total of three sports. The three sports are tennis, basketball, and bowling. The interesting part of this ‘three-sport’ challenge is that Melli Monaco has to only win one sport to win the $1 million. The first game Gilbert Arenas and Melli Monaco played was tennis which Gilbert Arenas absolutely dominated. The score in the tennis match was 21-12 (race to 21 points) in favor of Gilbert Arenas.
