Gabrielle Union’s daughter’s first concert experience was at Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour stop in Los Angeles. But more than Queen Bey, the little one was excited to watch Blue Ivy. The Bring It On actress had to explain that Blue Ivy was just a part of the concert. She actually went to the concert for Blue Ivy. Well, for the 6-year-old, it is one special friend who is like Beyoncé and Rihanna, as revealed by her mother.

The Bring It On actress recently sat for a conversation on The Hitting Plan. While speaking about Kaavia and Zaya, Union mentioned that Kaavia and LeBron Savannah James’ daughter go to the same school as well as Zaya, who is in senior year.

As Union revealed, thanks to their school being close, Zaya gets a chance to visit her younger sister during breaks. “And every day at Kav’s lunch, Zaya comes and visits her and gives her a hug. And it’s like Zaya’s become like the kindergarten celebrity because, you know, like older kids are celebrities,” Union praised Zaya for her heartwarming gestures toward her sister.

And Zhuri, now 10 years old, rather has a massive impact on Kaavia, as Union noted. “Sixth graders are like, oh, my God, it’s Beyonce. And it’s funny, also, Zhuri James, LeBron’s daughter, LeBron and Savannah’s daughter, goes to school, and she just thinks Zuri is, I mean, she’s Beyonce. She’s Rihanna. It’s like, wow,” Union added.

The little one loves Beyoncé. She often sings and grooves to her songs alongside her mother, Union, and sister, Zaya. But it looks like Zhuri is the new Beyoncé for Kaavia. Even her older sister, who is also a big fan of the singer, became a celebrity in Kaavia’s kindergarten.

She often follows this tradition, and for the younger kids, she has become a Beyoncé-level celebrity to Kaavia’s friends. It’s really hard for grown-ups to win kids’ hearts, but for the Miami Heat legend’s daughter Zaya, it clearly wasn’t a task.

How do two sisters with 11 years age gap bond ?

Both the sisters have a love for fashion. But it’s not through these that the two bond over and connect. Zaya is very academically focussed while the youngest has different interests.

Union recalled how the eldest went to an astrobiology camp while the youngest went to a golf camp. When asked by the reporter, Union shared that despite the age, the two bond over their love for books.

“This summer she (Zaya) went to astrobiology camp, Kaavia went to golf camp so Zaya is very very very much an academic and so they kind of bond through books,” Union shared. Kaavia has begun to take an interest in basketball which is obviously what her father loves. And the eldest who didn’t pursue the same profession urged her to do so.

Dwyane Wade in his podcast shared, “Today, me, her, and Zaya were actually out there (basketball practice). I showed Zaya, like ‘Zaya, look at your sister.’ And Zaya was like, she’s like, ‘Go ahead, do something that I couldn’t do. Carry on.’ Zaya’s crazy.” The bond between the two is really heartwarming.
