The Emmy Award-winning actress herself busted the story of the big man taking a shot at her during her appearance on a talk show yesterday.

Between his diverse schedules and travels, Shaquille O’Neal has the time to keep up with his favorite TV shows. One show he seemingly never missed out on was Scandal. The hit political series ran on ABC from 2012 to 2018, but it still remains iconic. Also iconic is the fabulous star who brought the cutthroat fixer, Olivia Pope, to life – the amazing Kerry Washington herself. Shaq would agree.

Kerry Washington was on Watch What Happens Live… spilling all about her real-life scandals to Andy Cohen. The Bravo personality asked her, “Who’s the most famous person to slide into your DMs, wanting to connect as a friend or otherwise?” Her answer surprised many. “Um, Shaq, Shaquille O’Neal.”

“He’s a big ‘Scandal’ fan. He’s always like, ‘I’ll do anything for command,'” she told the audience. For the uninitiated, Olivia Pope restarted B613 and made herself the ‘Command’ therefore becoming the puppet master of the new presidential administration. That proves Shaq has true Scandal insight.

She didn’t specify how their interaction went down. She obviously let him down easily. Maybe Shaq said, “It’s handled,” in Pope style. Big Diesel’s big romantic adventures always interest his fans. But he’s often stopped short of a confirmation. He’s, however, been very open about his celebrity encounters.

Besides Washington, Shaq is a longtime diehard fan of Halle Berry. However, his face-to-face encounter with her didn’t go the way he dreamed about. The Los Angeles Lakers icon also splurged on a California residence he didn’t like because it was next door to Paula Abdul. He then proceeded to terrorize her with his friendly neighborhood pranks.
