The part-owner of the Washington Commanders has had huge developments at his company recently. Apart from his new billionaire status, one of his children, Andre Johnson, is now part of Magic Johnson Enterprises as of November 2023.

His company is all about uplifting community outreach. But it’s also about fun. This time, Magic Johnson has upped the ante for all other corporate retreats. The billionaire gave the first glimpses of it on his Instagram Stories. While the location is undisclosed, it looks sunny, beachy, and tropical. He wrote on his Stories, “Excited to have kicked off the revamped 2024 Magic Johnson Enterprises Corporate Retreat.” 

It truly is revamped. The theme states, ‘Unrivaled Journey… Elevate the possibilities.’ It is elevated indeed. The big boss showcases the merchandise his employees will get at this retreat, and it’s as exotic as the venue.

There’s a black leather binder monogrammed with the company logo. It complements an ashy t-shirt with a giant M in the style of the company logo on the front. Johnson showed both against the window, giving a view of the stunning waterfront venue. The last time Earvin “Magic” Johnson shared updates from his company retreat was in 2016. His employees and associates were at the heart of the retreat. After all, Magic Johnson Enterprises is centered around its people.

Magic Johnson Enterprises’ positive influence

In December, the Olympian with gold medals and 14 championships in his playing and sports team ownership career added another notch to his trophy collection – the Inspiration Award at the 10th Annual Anniversary Women in Entertainment Luncheon. The hypeman who’s always penning encouraging notes on X was commended for always uplifting female athletes like Naomi Osaka and Juju Watkins.

The work of Magic Johnson Enterprises boosting minority and women-run businesses also deserves recognition. As a major stakeholder in EquiTrust Life Insurance Company, Johnson and MBE Capital Partners provided $100 million in loans to these businesses.
