“Bring This Brazilian Team…Back”: Kevin Garnett Left in Sheer Disbelief Over Argentina Soccer Team’s Humiliation at 5-Time World Champion’s Hands

The Brazil international team has given the world of soccer incredible players like Pele, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Neymar Jr., and Kaká among others. The international Brazilian soccer team has won the World Cup a record five times – 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, and 2002.

In a recent social media post, NBA Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett praises the legendary Brazilian Soccer Team’s performance in resurfaced video of their fame against the Argentinian Soccer team.

In a recent Instagram story, Boston Celtics legend Kevin Garnett praises Brazil’s International Soccer team. He posted an Instagram video of the 2002 World Cup match between Brazil and Argentina. The Brazilian players showcased their incredible dribbling, passing and overall team chemistry in the video. In the same video, Brazil was so dominant and effortless with their passing that they managed to score a goal without a single Argentinian player touching the ball.

The Boston Celtics legend says this on his Instagram story, “Yesssss bring this Brazilian Team back!”. The 2002 Brazil International Team for soccer was star-studded with global icons like Roberto Carlos, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaká, Ronaldo among others. This team is arguably one of the best soccer squads of all time. This iconic team went on to dominate and eventually won the 2002 World Cup.

 

The NBA Hall of Famer is an avid soccer lover and is a well-renowned soccer fan in the basketball community. Why? Because he is an active social media user who never misses an opportunity to voice his opinion.

Kevin Garnett’s love for soccer and its legends

 The ‘Big Ticket’ has been following the sport of soccer since his playing days with Minnesota Timberwolves. He credits his former teammate Mario Jaric, who helped him develop a keen interest in the sport.

He once posted a viral clip of the Brazilian legend Ronaldinho, being a complete ‘magician’ on the soccer field. The 6’11 Boston Celtics legend said on his story that he “could watch this all day” as he ‘fanboyed’ over the Brazilian legend.

The basketball legend and the soccer legend also had a legendary mutual friend. Both Ronaldinho and Kevin Garnett were  close friends with the late Kobe Bryant. So, it wouldn’t be surprising if the two legends have shared conversations in the past.
