La La Anthony is turning heads with her cool new look for Halloween. Besides her responsibilities as a mother and businesswoman, Carmelo Anthony’s ex-wife also took on the role of hosting one of the hottest Halloween parties of the year. While several big A-listers joined the bash in their memorable costumes, La La pulled off a cool look to pay homage to a Marvel character.

The hosts of this year’s party were Lenny S, La La Anthony, Winnie Harlow, and Carver Guru. Lenny S shared a carousel post on Instagram featuring some of the best looks from the night. The first slide showed the four hosts posing together. The former MTV VJ wore a red latex bodysuit with black accents, gloves, and a mask, channeling the Marvel character Lady Deadpool. Presented by Opulence, the party was in LA.

In homage to the fictional character, Anthony shared another carousel post on Instagram, giving a closer look at her Halloween costume. “DEADPOOL… Justice has a new face ⚔️” she captioned the post. She received rave reviews and love from her co-hosts. Carver Guru shared a picture of Anthony on her Instagram Story, writing, “@lala The Best Co-Host Costume Couture 24.”

Lady Deadpool appeared in Deadpool & Wolverine, which made around $1.34 billion and became the second highest-grossing film of the year. The Power actress also shared the group photo on her Instagram Story, captioning it, “Costume Couture Was Epic!!!!!” “Obsessed,” Harlow wrote on her IG.

Earlier this year, she also served looks at the Met Gala and did a terrific job hosting the Met Gala livestream on TikTok and YouTube alongside Ashley Graham and Gwendoline Christie. While she continues to slay with her looks, she recently went viral for her playful response to her son’s lie.

La La Anthony crowned the best mom

The supermom is juggling her career, mom duties, and being a full-time fan of her son. While she praises him a lot, she wasn’t going to let him get away with a lie. When she heard him say he was 6’5″, La La quickly corrected that he was actually 6’4″.

This exchange took place during their summer trip to Japan. Lately, Overtime has been sharing some of the unseen clips from the trip. One such clip shows Kiyan discovering that his mom used to work for Baskin-Robbins. It was her first job. But Kiyan was more interested in knowing why she got fired.

To everyone’s surprise, she replied, “Because we were stealing ice cream. That was maybe like my second job. But my cousin Dice got fired first. We were taking home pints and pints of ice cream.”

After that, she probably took on a few more jobs before making a huge splash in the entertainment world. And even now, she continues to thrive in business while often surprising fans with her flair for hosting.
