The answer is always Kiyan for Carmelo Anthony‘s ex-wife, La La Anthony. The BMF actress will choose her son over anything and everything, always rooting for him. Even if that means letting go of the team she supported for more than a decade. In what seemed like a hilarious attempt to put her in a difficult position, La La was asked whom she would support between the Knicks and her son Kiyan, who is the No.1 ranked high school player in New York.

The mother unsurprisingly chose her son. When asked if she could root against the Knicks, a team she grew up supporting and where her ex-husband Melo made history, if her son were drafted elsewhere, she didn’t hesitate to make her choice clear. “Not that hard! I’m sorry I’m going where my kid goes! Wherever my kid is at, that’s who I’m rooting for,” La La revealed as per Page Six.

Anthony’s son has yet to begin his college basketball career, but fans are already making a narrative around Melo’s son, hoping that he gets a chance to build a similar legacy to his father. However, there is also a chance that Kiyan might get drafted for a different team.

“It’s different when it’s your kid. It’s just a whole different ball game. It feels like a brand new journey that I’m going on with him,” the 45-year-old actress further shared. La La was born and raised in New York and understandably has a soft spot for the Knicks. Yet, nothing matters before her son.
