Among the many for La La Anthony, one came in the form of friendship with the American rapper 50 Cent. However, the 14x Grammy nominee has not just been a friend of The Perfect Find actress, but he has also been a mentor and a producer. “Go Shawty it’s ya birthday,“ once said 50 Cent in his song In Da Club, which is considered a worldwide sensation. Well, it’s time to celebrate the birthday of the man himself, as Curtis James Jackson III has turned 49 today. Just one away from 50! Anyhow, coming back to La La, here is a sweet note from the 42-year-old to celebrate 50 Cent’s special day. 

“You always look out for the people you rock with. That’s the cancer in you!! Thank you for always looking out for me. We did it with Power and BMF! Enjoy ur day Fif!! Turn up!!“ said La La on 50 Cent’s 49th. You might wanna know what ‘Power‘ and ‘BMF‘ is, so here we go. 

50 Cent’s investments go beyond music. The iconic rapper has shown his interest in movies and TV shows several times. In fact, he even played a role in the series ‘Power,‘ which he produced executively. Guess who was a part of it? La La Anthony. This show helped her find out that 50 Cent was her right mentor. 

Why does La La Anthony consider 50 Cent as her mentor? 

Some bonds go past friendship. 50 Cent has produced two TV shows in the last few years. One is Power, and the other is Black Family Mafia, both in which La La has played a significant role. As an executive producer for both, 50 Cent made the call to La La to personally reel her into the series. 

On the release of the third season of Black Family Mafia, La La took the time to share about the special bond she had with 50 Cent. She revealed, “50 Cent is a mentor to me and one of my closest friends. We’ve been locked in for over 15 years now, so when he calls on me for something, I know it’s going to be good, and I’ll be pushed as an actor, so that’s why I follow his lead.”

La La made sure she showed her gratitude to the Grammy winner once again, and this time on a very special occasion, when the entire world was celebrating listening to his music.
