With earning $262 million in the NBA through salary, Carmelo Anthony put that money to good use. With his business acumen, his Melo7 Tech Partners have invested in around 37 companies. Apart from the famous Creative 7, a media production company, STAYME70 fashion label, and a wine brand VII (N) The Seventh Estate. Recently on a TV show, for the promotion of his wine, Melo brought a gift, which he revealed in the BTS clip. But why is the host flabbergasted?

And I’d only tell you so much to really get you to know a wine. You got to eat the cork.” The 10x All-Star did not break character when he delivered those lines while promoting his product.

The wine industry is definitely on an upward trend. A single person annually consumes as per multiple reports, 9.9 liters of wine in the US. So, it made sense for Carmelo Anthony to enter the market, and he knew just what he was stepping into.

Since his Denver Nuggets days, Carmelo Anthony has always been a wine connoisseur. “I realized I need to stop spending so much money on consuming this wine and figure out what is the right business model in this industry.” His brand VII (N) The Seventh Estate, took three years to be established and create a name for itself in the $500 billion wine industry.
