Dennis Rodman has had a reputation for being a man of unconventional style. The 5x NBA champion never seemed to care for common perceptions. So much so that he supposedly managed to defy the common perception that women are more influenced by how a man smells. On an episode of Big Shot Bob Podcast, Robert Horry shed some light on Rodman’s alleged smelly routine.

“He would literally finish the game, put his clothes on, and work out after the games. And then walk out,” said Horry. He further recollected his experience with Dennis in the LA Lakers. “Everybody was like, looking at it like, did this motherf*cker just work out and leave? And then he put Carmen Electra on his arm and walk out,” the 7X NBA champion stated further.

This discussion emerged after Rob Jenners played one of Shaquille O’Neal‘s audios. Shaq mentioned in the audio how Rodman would take a cold shower before the game, give you 25 rebounds, and put back his clothes on stinking like anything. “He smelled like garbage truck water. He got models on him at the club…I was mad. Not because he had a girl…I’m like, this ain’t wash his *ss,” Shaq said.

This was the moment where Horry interjected and further elaborated the workout followed by Dennis’s practice session. Now there may well be some exaggeration to it but even if there was the slightest truth then Carmen Electra seemed to be unaffected by this. She not only dated Dennis Rodman but also married him.

Dennis Rodman, Carmen Electra: A Brief but Intense Love Story?

Rodman and Electra are said to have met in late 90s. The duo got married faster than anyone could have expected. They tied the knot in 1998 and the rumors of a divorce started emerging even faster. As per the report by PEOPLE back in 1999, Rodman filed for annulment just after nine days of the marriage. “Carmen and Dennis spoke several days ago and mutually agreed (to end the marriage),” Electra’s publicist Cindy Guagenti stated back then.

Rodman and Electra’s relationship has been highlighted in ‘The Last Dance‘ as well. One particular instance from the docuseries is about Rodman visiting Electra in Las Vegas during the 1998 finals. “I do remember being in Vegas with him. It was on — the party was starting right away,” Electra recalled on The Last Dance docuseries. “It was definitely an occupational hazard to be Dennis’ girlfriend,” she added. Though the relationship between the two was short-lived, it sure seems to have been a rollercoaster of romance and differences.
