Charles Barkley is having one of those moments where he wants to un-know information. That has to do with Larsa Pippen, Marcus Jordan, and the entire saga with Scottie Pippen and Michael JordanSir Charles has usually not held much opinion about Larsa and Marcus’ relationship, though he has commented in favor of MJ over the Last Dance-Pippen feud. He wanted to keep that status quo – a luxury LarCus has not afforded anyone who picked up the latest People magazine.

On the night of the Chicago Bulls Ring of Honor ceremony, Barkley called into ESPN Chicago to talk about the Jordan-Pippen saga. The hosts supplied him with an excerpt of Larsa and Marcus’ explicit confession via Watch What Happens Live. They got a little too candid that Larsa’s intimacy with Marcus surpassed that with her ex-husband.

Sir Charles could’ve lived without knowing that. “That’s TMI. That’s just too much.” You can understand Chuck’s discomfort. He was once on the same team as Pippen when they played for the Houston Rockets toward the end of their careers. No one wants to know their teammate’s bedroom lives.

Barkley had a problem with Larsa mentioning Scottie at all when talking about her relationship with Marcus. “Why would you do that? That’s unnecessary and uncalled for,” he directed at the reality star. “I don’t mind people not liking each other… because you just have different personalities… but there’s no need to take shots at people. There’s no need to do that. That’s just wrong on so many levels.”

Barkley’s philosophy extends to the Real Housewives universe Larsa is a part of. He disparaged her show, stating the premise of hanging out with a group of ‘friends’ one hates is fake.

Marcus is now part of The Real Housewives of Miami and appeared on WWHL, where they boasted they outdid Larsa’s previous marriage with Scottie in that regard. In a rare show of support, Barkley – who called Scottie a terrible offensive player on TNT – defended his honor.

Charles Barkley doesn’t care for Scottie Pippen

Both Barkley and Pippen have had separate falling outs with Jordan. But while Barkley still misses their friendship, he eviscerated Pippen for being “mean-spirited” and talking about Jordan in his memoir.

Pippen also fired back at Barkley and once claimed that Jordan advised him against becoming his teammate. It’s nothing new since even when they were in Houston, they never saw eye-to-eye.

While he doesn’t care for LarCus, Barkley wanted to be a fly on the wall when MJ and the Pip would have an awkward reunion at the Bulls gala. He bet that Jordan would be present but not Pippen. Barkley counted on it being uncomfortable because of the Larsa-Marcus situation. He miscalculated as both skipped the event. What do you think about Barkley’s rare take on LarCus?
