Interestingly, Shaq, beyond his career, has had a fair share of history with animals. 

The 7’1″ NBA legend recently surprised fans with a video contrasting his imposing physique. He found himself in a comical scenario as a pack of dogs chased him in the video. The Hall of Famer’s playful reactions and evident regret at his decision added a lighthearted touch to his larger-than-life persona.

Shaquille O’Neal’s aggressive playing style on the court was well-treasured. With his humongous body, ‘Big Shamrock’ appeared like a beast against his opponents. This 7-foot-1 monster may look intimidating, but he’s actually just a big child at heart. He has always shown his fun-loving side through his banters with Charles Barkley and others.

His fun side was on full display in his recent Instagram story. The four-time NBA champion was seen playing with a pack of dogs in someone’s backyard. The beast of a man appeared to take shelter from the dogs when they came running back at him. Funnily enough, the video had an appropriate song describing the sequence, Who Let The Dogs Out.

The video was originally posted by the Instagram page ‘hotfreestyle’ with the caption, “Shaq quickly realized it wasn’t a good idea.”

Shaq’s lavish Georgia Pond project

Shaquille O’Neal is a huge animal advocate. In a move that won hearts across the world, the NBA legend built a $500,000 pond in his Georgia residence. The big man with big aspirations got one of the largest koi fishes all the way from Japan to the pond. The fish were delivered by ‘Ed The Pond Professor’, which weighed around 35 pounds and was 39 inches tall.

Funnily, Shaquille O’Neal decided to name his fish after his ‘Inside the NBA’ colleague and Philadelphia 76ers legend, Charles Barkley. On or off-air, Shaq never fails to roast his buddy.
