Co-Host’s “Nasty Hands” Ruin Charles Barkley’s Delicious March Madness Treat on Live TV

March Madness is now heading to the Sweet 16, which means it’s time to break out the donuts. That’s a combination Charles Barkley would not skip out on. When it comes to NCAA Tournament brackets and donuts, one takes precedence for the donut connoisseur. Chuck won’t let anyone’s paws desecrate his treats. Not even the Donutty Professor’s.
That is the moniker Ernie Johnson owns for the March Madness donut chaos. Ernie was casually explaining how the donut game works to his co-hosts and he took out the Texas A&M donut from the board. A donut Chuck wanted. “Ernie, don’t put your nasty hands on them!” Barkley whined, flustering Ernie so effectively that he didn’t move for several seconds.
The point of this game is to gobble up the donut of the team you don’t want. And Ernie just took away Clark Kellog’s first donut. Somehow that had both Clark and Chuck in sync flustering Ernie even more with, “We’re supposed to eat that!” The Godfather’s nasty hands are going to be a running joke throughout this hilarious segment.

To his credit, Kenny tried to save Ernie’s blushes by telling the other two there were 122 donuts to pick from. But it so happens that Ernie took the coveted one. As it progresses, Ernie looks ready to never have the donut-themed segment next year.

Auburn’s early elimination by the Yale Bulldogs must be stinging still. Barkley told his co-hosts they could eat the Bulldog donut given the lingering bitterness of his alma mater’s first-round ouster. But when Kenny got too greedy eating the Alabama and Clemson donuts together, Barkley got mad again that there were fewer donuts for him. But he disguised it as concern for Kenny’s health. “You can’t have two donuts, man… we got obesity problems in this country.”

But the real explosion came when Ernie moved the San Diego donut. Barkley, louder and whinier than before, yelled, “Did you just touch all the damn donuts!” Ernie contended you can’t eat a donut without touching it with your hands. Barkley still yelled, “I eat what I wanna eat. I don’t touch ’em all!” Ernie got frustrated and simply called Chuck the worst. An offended Sir Charles with all the sass of a mom retorted, “I’m the worst? You touchin’ all the donuts and I’m the worst?”

At this point, Ernie chucked the Auburn donut at Charles and called it a wrap. If he ‘touches’ a donut before the next NCAA Tournament, it will be too soon.
