The NBA legend tried to show off that dad rizz that left his YouTube-famous interviewer cringing. His daughters probably won’t want to watch this but we wish his daughters, Taahirah, Amirah, and Me’Arah, would confirm at least one fact about their hilarious and intimidating dad.

We know Shaq has a wicked sense of humor and that showed when Bobbi Althoff interviewed him recently. The interview was packed with some viral comedic moments including one about Big Diesel as a girl-dad.

The Big Aristotle is not going to be a grandfather

A lot of questionable questions got questionable answers when Bobbi Althoff interviewed Shaquille O’Neal on her YouTube channel. Between his doctor status and his luxury purchases, the O’Neal kids came up in conversation. Shaq is a parent to three boys, Myles, Shareef, and Shaqir, and three girls, Taahirah, Amirah, and Me’Arah. At least that’s how many O’Neal kids are known.

Shaq likes to imply he may or may not have more which led to suspicious silence on Althoff’s end. The TNT analyst who likes to shut up his on-air frenemy Charles Barkley with his jokes, broke the silence with, “I have one your age.”

Bobbi confirmed if he has a daughter who is 26 years old and he said yes. He may be referring to Taahirah, who was born on July 19, 1996 and is actually 27 years old but close enough. Amirah is 21 and the youngest of the brood, Me’Arah is 17.

Althoff, a mom of two little girls, also asked if his ’26-year-old’ has kids of her own. Shaq deadpanned, “No, no kids for her.” When the YouTuber said, “not yet,” O’Neal declared, “not ever.”

When she asked why, the Los Angeles Lakers legend threateningly whispered, “Because I said so.”

As he told Althoff, “Because every time her boyfriend comes by, I just go…” O’Neal does a threatening chest-pumping thing, and says, “And they leave.” Cue the Bobbi Althoff side-eye.

Diesel is determined to keep them his precious girls for as long as possible. While potential suitors have much to fear, Shaq is of course, much softer with his daughters.

Shaquille O’Neal goes easy on his girls

After seeing’s O’Neal’s tactics to scare away his daughters’ potential suitors, Althoff said, “I can’t imagine you being like, my dad.”

But it’s not the first time O’Neal has been protective about his daughters. Earlier this year, the multi-millionaire revealed he never raised his voice at his daughters. But he’d also gloat he’s strict about his daughters’ dating life when he appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

He, in fact, gloated about plans to “torture” any of his daughters’ boyfriends.

It’s expected though. The 2000 NBA MVP can terrorize his sons as much as he did his opponents on the NBA court. But he has a soft corner for his daughters, as he’s revealed before.

But O’Neal’s girls know best what kind of dad he is. There’s never been a single rumor about Taahirah O’Neal or her sisters’ romantic lives. And now we know why. How many can relate?
