“Craziest Sh*t I’ve Ever Seen”: Victor Wembanyama’s “Move Of The Year” Leaves Celtics Legend Kevin Garnett Shook

Kevin Garnett is awestruck by the San Antonio Spurs rookie’s game. The team clinched a fantastic 102-87 win over the Memphis Grizzlies; however, what remains fresh in people’s minds is Victor Wembanyama’s mind-blowing move. While there’s an ongoing debate on whether Wembanyama can win the DPOY title, he is going over and beyond to prove his skills. At this point, it doesn’t even matter even if he doesn’t win. The 7’5 Frenchman is consistently elevating his skills.
The rookie recently pulled off a Shammgod move during a dribble-handoff play, followed by a spin move. His flashy move combined with the spin has left the Boston Celtics veteran Garnett in awe. In a clip shared by The KG Certified podcast’s official Instagram account, Garnett can be seen enthusiastically explaining the move to his co-host and best friend, Paul Pierce. “Not only to Shammgod a n**a that’s 7’4″ or the same size as you, but to Shammgod a n***a from the post? That was the craziest s**t I’ve ever seen a big n***a do, yo. Yo, that the n***a was in the motherf*****g post and he sham guarded n***s… This move of the year y’all,” Garnett said.

Again, not a first for the Frenchman. Earlier this year, he pulled off a Shammgod on his mentor Rudy Gobert.

Kevin Garnett has faith in the Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama
Quite interesting how Wembanyama is just second best after Gobert in the DPOY race. Garnett shared the clip of Wembanyama’s game on his Instagram Story and wrote, “We see you Stretchhh..”
Wembanyama was considered the most promising talent since LeBron James when he entered the league. However, despite that many had doubts about his game. To be honest, he has already proved that he is so much more than the expectations put on him. Garnett has always shown support to Wembanyama. “(Wembanyama) has the ‘it factor.’ He’s a top-tier scorer, he got it to where he can lead a team,” Garnett said in an episode of The Ticket and The Truth podcast.

Garnett even claimed that the rookie player would soon score 60 points in a game. Given how Wembanyama has been honing both his defensive and offensive game, it seems safe to bet on Garnett’s words. Garnett even compared him to Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant. What is your take on Wembanyama’s game? Let us know in the comments section below.
