He continues to engage in charitable events. Recently, he invited his other friends and fellow players to join him for a noble cause. The Golden State Warriors player and his wife Ayesha Curry hosted the Workday Charity Classic in August. Several celebrities joined them for the event at the Standford Golf Classic. Andre Iguodala showed off his golf skills at Stephen Curry’s charity event

With several stars, such as former basketball player Dell Curry, Joe Lacob, Chris O’Donnell, and others, it was a star-studded event. One of them was Curry’s teammate Andre Iguodala who is regarded as one of the best amateur golfers. Looking at the pictures shared on his IG, the NBA players had a great time golfing on the course. Iguodala shared some snaps from the event on his IG post and captioned it, “Let’s Go Golfing.” 

Previously, Iguodala was honored with a position in former NBA player Byron Scott’s top five list of the best NBA players who golf. A praise from a venerated amateur golfer Scott describes the Warriors player’s skills. Along with basketball, he continues to hone his golfing skills as he graced Curry’s charity event. While Iguodala was in the third position in Scott’s list, the 9-time NBA All-Star was named as the second-best all-time NBA player who golfed.

Impressed by Curry’s talent, the Swingman once revealed a weird story. He shared how he was surprised to witness his teammate deliver a stunning performance even after a long flight. After their journey, Curry was excellent when he went golfing with Andre and then showed a mind-blowing display at their next match as well. Andre shared, “There’s no way he’s supposed to have that type of game off a back-to-back and we just played golf. But there’s something wrong with that dude. It’s weird”.

Apart from being a phenomenal player, he is humble and grounded. People are aware of the philanthropy impact. Curry and his wife hosted their 4th annual event to raise funds. All proceeds from the event will benefit the underprivileged children of Oakland. It is impressive how several celebrities joined the couple to amplify the cause with their fame and talent. Not only do people admire them for their humanitarian work, but are also inspired by them.
