After all, Barkley was considered too short to play in the paint against the bigs of his time. In the recent episode of ?That?s F***ed Up Podcast?, Salley shared his opinion on who he thinks has the most strongest and aggressive personality.

The Detroit Pistons legend spoke about the towering height of Yao Ming and the physique of Shaq. But he added that they all lacked something that Barkley had. Salley said, ? If any of them had the personality of Charles Barkley, it would have been the most dangerous.?

Expressing his desire to go against the Los Angeles Lakers legend, he said, ?I would foul Shaq on purpose.??But he wasn’t the only big man John Salley had strong opinions about.

John Salley was impressed with Yao Ming?s skills

In the same episode, Salley revealed how he was stunned by NBA veteran Yao Ming?s impressive physique.

Recalling his experience with the 7-foot-6 tall player, he shared, ? I stood next to Yao Ming one time and I was working for the Best Damn Sports Show. And you know, I am just looking at him. And then I stood like to the side of him and then in front of him and I realized I was half of him. So he was two of me.?

Yao Ming was a phenomenal player in the league. And the Houston Rockets legend routinely made bigs like John Salley (who stands at 6’11) feel like high schoolers. Ming was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in the year 2016 alongside The Big Aristotle.
